Agricultural water booster

In agriculture, high salt concentrations in soil can reduce the value of agricultural land and productivity. For this reason, there is a need to reduce soil salinity and improve salt leaching below the root zones of salt-sensitive crops such as potatoes, tomatoes and citrus. The effect of salt on soil, especially when irrigating crops with groundwater, risks distributing water containing high levels of salt. When salt dissolves in water, sodium and chloride ions are separated and replaced by other beneficial mineral nutrients such as potassium and phosphorus. Damage can manifest as plant discoloration, stunted or reduced growth and nutrient deficiencies. For desalination, magnetically treated water (MTW) has been used by researchers and farmers alike to experiment with and alter the distribution and accumulation of salt in soil layers. While there are many and varied reports of the success of these methods, it has been observed that MTW does not change the chemical state of water and changes its physical parameters such as surface tension, viscosity, zeta potential, solubility and diffusion. Studies have also shown that it desalinates soil.
